Groupe américain né au milieu des années 80. Post-punk ou pré-grunge, les Meat Puppets sont l'exemple parfait du groupe entre deux-eaux, qui aurait pu marcher mais n'a connu finalement qu'un succès d'estime lorsqu'au sommet, Nirvana reprit en Unplugged leur célèbre Lake Of Fire que voici :
